Hey everyone! I figured we were only posting photos and such, and since I didn't have any (T^T), I opted for a worded post instead. English, sorry. =3
Giving up. It's a strange word, isn't it? It's called giving up, but when we give up we only let people down. Giving up. I'm sure these words crossed both your and my minds before, especially when we're feeling exhausted and out of breath. Trust me, you're not the only one.
I almost gave up in KC Drama Club once. Gave up on myself and on the club. I had enough of putting so much effort when things weren't changing at all. We kept on saying how we would stand up again, but it seemed to me we were still falling. And it was about time I stopped. I figured I would quit, since I had nothing left. Selfish, I know, but that was me just a year ago. I stuck with this decision for awhile, I was stubborn so nothing could really change my mind. But then something a friend said made me reconsider everything.
'Where will you go?' My friend had asked. She was right. Where would I go after I left? Any other club the school had to offer, of course, duh! But... it just wouldn't feel the same. And how could I leave the family I've known so long? In all honesty, they were all I knew. We shared so many memories together, laughter, tears, pain. After so much we've been through, I'm the one who runs at the first sign of hardship. What a coward. What a stupid coward.
So I stopped being a stupid coward, and I'm glad how that turned out. I would have hated to miss out on all the great things we've accomplished this year. We've come a long long long way since then, I'm really proud of us. And what I'm trying to say is, you'll definitely face difficulties no matter what you do, you just have to be willing to stick it out for awhile. Just hold on, because everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end. =3
And so, on to more cheerful things! I've finally gone blogskin searching and found some really cool stuff. This time I went for colours, and stuff that reminded me of KC Drama Club, so when people visited the blog, they'd be like 'ah yes, this IS the KC Drama Club'. Lmao. Pick your favourite and drop a comment in the cbox, kay? ^^
001. ORDINARY MIRACLE
well, to be honest this one is really ordinary, but i like the text that says, 'no need to teach a seed to grow. it's just another ordinary miracle'. reminds me of ourselves, of how we started out as seeds and how much we've grown and are still growing. really basic bright pastel colours, though it might take the focus off our lovely photos. lol.
002. SINGING IN THE RAIN
the banner made me laugh. it's cute, and again, it reminds me of the kc drama club. like we're the little people (and emiko's the sun) in the picture and we're singing in the rain. which to me means we're still smiling and happy despite the troubles and obstacles we're going through. kc drama club survivors or something. ^^ the colours here denser and deeper (and nicer), but the only problem i have with it is that the columns are too narrow, which means the photos we have might stretch the board, which means ugly bloggie. =/
003. FORMULAE : HOP + E
my absolute favourite so far! simple colours, white and greenish-brown tones and the cutest header ever! i mean, move your mouse cursor over the balls, and whoa little cute creature pop out! it's like our motto, 'put us on the stage and we're alive'! granted, it's not as colourful as the other two options above, or even our current one, but still, i love it!
If you really ask me, the choices are really between 002 and 003, but that's just me. Hee hee. XD JES
